Supplier code

What ETABLIX expects of every supplier and subcontractor — and what our supply chain can expect from us.

Last reviewed: 31 August 2026 · This code applies to every supplier and subcontractor engaged by ETABLIX, and to those seeking registration on our supply chain.

1. Why this code exists

ETABLIX integrates many specialist suppliers into one accountable site system. That only works when every partner operates to the same standard. This code states what we expect — and what suppliers can expect from us. It reflects the ETABLIX partner standard: verified competence, capacity and insurance; robust HSE, quality and ethical systems; transparent pricing and change control; digital reporting and auditable evidence; and mobilisation, continuity and closeout discipline.

2. Competence, capacity and insurance

  • Hold and maintain the licences, registrations, competence records and accreditations relevant to your capability.
  • Represent capacity honestly: concurrent commitments, mobilisation lead times and the largest scope you can deliver reliably.
  • Maintain insurance appropriate to the engagement (employer's liability, public liability and, where relevant, professional indemnity and contractor's all risks) and evidence it on request.

3. Health, safety and environment

  • Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental law, including CDM duties where they apply to your works.
  • Provide competent, briefed and supervised people; plan work through risk assessments and method statements before starting.
  • Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly and honestly; participate in investigations and close actions.
  • Manage waste, emissions, nuisance and ecology responsibly, and support reinstatement and closeout evidence requirements.

4. Employment and ethics

  • Lawful employment only: right-to-work checks, lawful wages, working time compliance and fair treatment.
  • No modern slavery, forced labour, child labour or unlawful labour practices anywhere in your own supply chain — see our Modern Slavery Statement.
  • No bribery, facilitation payments or improper inducements. Comply with the Bribery Act 2010.
  • Declare conflicts of interest before they affect a decision.

5. Commercial conduct

  • Transparent pricing: exclusions and assumptions declared at tender, not discovered at invoice.
  • Change control discipline: no work proceeds on an uninstructed change; impacts are notified before commitment wherever possible.
  • Accurate applications and invoices, supported by records; prompt notification of anything that threatens continuity.
  • Pay your own supply chain fairly and on time.

6. Reporting and evidence

  • Work within the project's digital reporting systems — including CONSTRUX where deployed — for progress, evidence, quality and HSE records.
  • Keep records that would satisfy an audit: what was done, by whom, when, and to what standard.
  • Support mobilisation readiness gates, performance reviews and closeout evidence packs.

7. Mobilisation, continuity and closeout

  • Mobilise when committed, at the agreed readiness standard.
  • Flag continuity risks (people, plant, materials, finance) early enough for mitigation.
  • Complete demobilisation obligations deliberately: off-hire, removals, reinstatement, records and defects.

8. What suppliers can expect from ETABLIX

  • One requirements baseline and clear package boundaries — you price and deliver against a defined scope.
  • A named integration function that owns interfaces, dependencies and escalation.
  • Disciplined, transparent commercial administration, including timely assessment of applications and changes.
  • Performance feedback based on records and measures, not anecdote.

9. Breaches

We investigate suspected breaches proportionately. Outcomes range from corrective action plans to suspension or removal from the supply chain, and termination of engagements where contracts allow. Safety-critical and ethics breaches are treated most seriously.

10. Raising concerns

Anyone — supplier personnel included — may raise a concern about conduct on an ETABLIX-managed site or engagement, in confidence: contact@etablix.com. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
